This Privacy Policy explains how Khodaiwala ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, stores and protects your personal data. We are committed to handling your data in accordance with India's Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDP Act), the Information Technology Act, 2000 and the IT (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011 (SPDI Rules).
Khodaiwala is operated by Aditya Associates, a sole proprietorship of Mr. Omkar Yogesh Lokhande, having its principal place of business at Lohegaon, Pune, Maharashtra 411047, India. For any privacy questions or to exercise your rights, contact our Grievance Officer (see Section 10).
We use your data only for the purpose for which you gave it, or a purpose reasonably connected to it.
We process your waitlist data on the basis of your free, specific, informed, unconditional and unambiguous consent, given by a clear affirmative action (ticking the consent box). You may withdraw your consent at any time (see Section 8); withdrawal does not affect processing already carried out.
Data may be stored on cloud infrastructure operated by our service providers. Where data is transferred or stored outside India, we do so only as permitted under the DPDP Act and applicable law.
We keep early-access waitlist data (name, mobile, email, machine count and consent record) for a maximum of 18 months from the date you submit it, or until you ask us to delete it, whichever is earlier. After that we delete it.
If you ask us to delete your data or withdraw consent, we will action your request within 30 days (see Section 8 and our Data Deletion Request page).
App data (once you use the application) is retained for as long as your account is active and as required by law (e.g. GST/financial records must be kept for the period mandated under tax law), after which it is deleted or anonymised.

We follow reasonable security practices and procedures as required by the SPDI Rules, including access controls, encryption in transit (HTTPS) and limiting access to data on a need-to-know basis. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure, but we take commercially reasonable steps to protect your data and will notify the Data Protection Board and affected individuals of a personal data breach as required by law.

Khodaiwala is meant for business owners and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect data of anyone under 18 without verifiable parental/guardian consent as required by the DPDP Act.
